Karapetian: BHK will not take second place in May 5 elections

Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will not take second place in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders. Chairman of People’s Party Tigran Karapetian expressed that opinion at the meeting with reporters today.

In his words, BHK’s positions have weakened since the decision was made that Vartan Oskanian should lead the party list. “If Oskanian is number one on the BHK list, it means that they are preparing him for the next presidential election,” Tigran Karapetian noted.

As regards the BHL leader Gagik Tsarukian, T. Karapetian believes that Tsarukian has no such ambitions, while Robert Kocharian is a “smart man and understands that he stands no chance”.
