R. Hovannisian: Hovik Abrahamian has no status to make proposals

“Mr. Abrahamian’s visit was an ethical one. I told him that I don’t view him as a mediator. I will discuss the content with Serzh Sargsyan only. Mr. Abrahamian cannot say anything on behalf of Mr. Sargsyan,” the hunger striking ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian stated during a press conference in Liberty Square of Yerevan today, when commenting on the visit of the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian.

According to him, Hovik Abrahamian has no status to make any proposals to him. “And he did not offer anything, including the position of Chairman of the Commissions for Constitutional Amendments,” R. Hovannisian said.

By the way, when asked whether he is waiting for Serzh Sargsyan, Raffi Hovannisian simply replied: “No”.
