Holidays start in Armenian schools

One-week holidays - from March 18 to March 24 - started in Armenian schools. Head of the General Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Science Ms. Narine Hovhannisian told Aysor.am that the school holidays for first graders will last two weeks: their lessons will begin on April 1.

There are 1,400 schools in Armenia. In about 100 schools, mainly in those in Gegharkunik province, pupils will have no holidays this year as the winter holidays in these schools were extended because of weather.
