Yeritsian: Taron Margarian is my friend, but I run in elections to win

Taron Margarian is my friend, but Orinats Yerkir (Country of Law) party – OEK has its position, and we have our programs, Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsian, who leads the OEK list in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, stated at a meeting with reporters today. He added that he is running in the elections in order to win.

“We are serious people, and I have entered the election race in order to win,” Yeritsian noted.

OEK will present its program and slogan in the pre-election period. Yeritsian stressed he has no intention of becoming a deputy mayor of Yerevan.

“If we fail to collect the number of the votes necessary for first place, I will continue serving as minister, if not, then the Armenian president should take a decision,” Armen Yeritsian said.

In his words, he considers Armen Martirosian, Taron Margarian, Vartan Oskanian and all the other candidates as worthy rivals.
