Dovlatian: Serzh Sargsyan is also victim of this system

“If Serzh Sargsyan accepts Raffi Hovannisian’s proposals, he will have serious problems as he is also a victim of this system and has to protect it because the system protects him,” Green Party Chairman Armenak Dovlatian said at the meeting with reporters today.

Speaking about the possible scenarios of the post-election developments, he expressed an opinion that the two best options would be the recognition of the real winner, who the speaker said is Raffi Hovannisian, but it did not take place. Secondly, the Constitutional Court could have declared the election null and void, which did not happen either.

Dovlatian said the situation now depends only on Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian who should make concessions. He said a revolt would be the worst scenario as in this case the authorities will use force.
