Lyudmila Sargsyan: HAK list may receive considerable number of votes

The elections to Yerevan Council of Elders will become a cornerstone, and their outcome will impact the further political processes. The deputy of Armenian National Congress (HAK) parliamentary faction, member of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party Lyudmila Sargsyan made that statement at the meeting with reporters today.

“Many are trying to present Taron Margarian as the best mayor. I would not like to assess his work negatively or to ignore it. But Yerevan will be a beautiful city to me when there are no beggars in the streets, when each resident has a job and lives a life of dignity, when people do not leave the country anymore,” she said.

Speaking about the list of HAK candidates running in the upcoming election, Lyudmila Sargsyan said that Vahagn Khachatrian who leads the party list may receive a considerable number of votes.

“He will deal with the problems of disabled people and those who lost their homes. These goals are realizable, and in the person of Vahagn Khachatrian we will have a new mayor,” the deputy said.
