Spokesman: President’s proposals still remain in force

Armen Arzumanian, spokesman for the Armenian president, has issued a statement, which reads:

“With regard to the March 26 letter of Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, we deem it necessary to note three circumstances:

1. President Serzh Sargsyan is noted for patience and has always taken constructive steps;

2. The president’s proposals presented in his letter of March 25 still remain in force, even though the language of unfounded ultimatums used in the square gradually reduces their urgency;

3. Meetings of the president are organized in accordance with a preplanned protocol and held in the presidential palace”.
