CEC gives Mission Party 48 hours to submit all necessary documents

The Central Election Commission of Armenia held a special session, at which a decision was made to give Arakelutyuin (Mission) Party 48 hours for submission of all the documents necessary for the registration in order to run in the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders. The deadline expires at 2:00 pm on March 29.

The CEC press service said that Mission Party did not submit all necessary documents for its registration, in particular, the party did not present a receipt about payment of an electoral pledge.

At today’s session the CEC also selected the type of stamps to be used for stamping voters’ IDs during local government elections on May 5 and May 26 in Gegharkunik, Lori, Armavir, Kotayk and Shirak provinces.
