OEK deputy: Taron Margarian is compassionate mayor

There will be a rivalry among all the political forces, and there is no need to point out any of them, the deputy of Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK) parliamentary faction Hovhannes Margarian said at a meeting with reporters today, when commenting on the statement of Hovhannes Shirinian who is number two on the OEK list of candidates running in the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders. H. Shirinian had declared that Republican Party of Armenia and OEK will be the main rivals in the election race.

“Everyone strives for victory and we are no exception”, the OEK deputy said.

As for the incumbent Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian, who is a member of HHK, Hovhannes Margarian expressed an opinion that Margarian is a compassionate mayor. He declined to speak about shortcomings in Taron Margarian’s work.
