Raffi Hovannisian: I comment on Serzh Sargsyan’s statements only

“I comment on Serzh Sargsyan’s statements only, while Heritage Party’s secretary Hovsep Khurshudian will answer Armen Arzumanian if he considers it appropriate," the leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian stated today.

“This is just another distortion. I am very sorry. In any case, our approach is clear, it is not an ultimatum. No one should distort my words for their own petty interests,” Raffi Hovannisian said.

Let us remind you that earlier today Armen Arzumanian, spokesman for the Armenian president, has issued a statement. According to the presidential press service, the statement reads:

“With regard to the March 26 letter of Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, we deem it necessary to note three circumstances:

1. President Serzh Sargsyan is noted for patience and has always taken constructive steps;

2. The president’s proposals presented in his letter of March 25 still remain in force, even though the language of unfounded ultimatums used in the square gradually reduces their urgency;

3. Meetings of the president are organized in accordance with a preplanned protocol and held in the presidential palace”.
