Raffi Hovannisian: If Sargsyan makes any proposals, they will be discussed

“If Serzh Sargsyan removes a point from the package of my proposals, he should add another point, an adequate one,” the hunger-striking former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian stated at a press conference in Liberty Square today.

He thanked Serzh Sargsyan for expressing concern about his health, adding that, however, “I did not change my mind, and if he wants to meet and negotiate with me, he may come to Liberty Square. We will meet in some place here – in the open or in my tent,” Raffi Hovannisian said, noting that they could even discuss the issue on the air.

As regards the rumors that he has closed a bargain with the authorities, Raffi Hovannisian said he is a public man and his conscience will not allow him to make any bargains.

“I repeat my demand: either new elections should be held or he should share power with people. I say once again that if Serzh Sargsyan makes proposals, they will be discussed,” R. Hovannisian said.
