Armen Martirosian: Meeting can take place only in Liberty Square

"A compromise is not what is at issue. We have submitted a comprehensive package of our proposals, which are not subject to change. If any point is removed, an equivalent point must be added,” Deputy Chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosian stated today.

When commenting the statement of Armenian president’s spokesman to the effect that a meeting of Raffi Hovannisian and Serzh Sargsyan can take place only in the presidential residence, Armen Martirosian said that in the present internal political situation there is no better meeting place than Liberty Square.

“The meeting can be held only in this square. It is not an ultimatum. There are numerous meeting places here,” Martirosian noted.

He did not share the opinion that a coalition is a possible form of cooperation with the authorities. He formulated it as power sharing.
