Tigran Khzmalian: Hovannisian preferred option of Trojan Horse

The ongoing post-election developments in Armenia are not a struggle between President Serzh Sargsyan and Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian – these developments are typical of all the post-Soviet countries, the member of the initiative group of Sardarapat movement, film director Tigran Khzmalian declared at a press conference today.

Speaking about Raffi Hovannisian-led movement, Tigran Khzmalian said his victory and “the defeat of the military-feudal system headed by Serzh Sargsyan are inevitable”.

“However, Raffi Hovannisian won’t be able to bring about changes single-handedly, and if he fails to lead this movement till final victory, it does not mean that the movement will die down, the name of its leader will simply change. I think Raffi understands it and his steps will become more coordinated,” the speaker noted.

According to Khzmalian, of many means of capturing the fortress, Raffi Hovannisian preferred Trojan Horse’s option.

“We hope that Hovannisian realizes the complexity of a single-handed struggle: it is quixotism. We hope that he will take coordinated steps until April 9 and after that, otherwise the leader’s name will change again and we will lose time once again,” Khzmalian said.
