Citizens and officials continue to visit Raffi Hovannisian
The leader of Heritage Party, ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian has been on hunger strike for 21 days.
During the rally held in Liberty Square of Yerevan yesterday, Hovannisian announced his intention to end his hunger strike following the Liturgy on Easter Sunday. He said that preparations will then start for April 9 – the day when the inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan is scheduled to take place.
Meanwhile, citizens and officials continue to visit hunger-striking Raffi Hovannisian in Liberty Square. Among today’s guests were Head of the EU Delegation in Armenia Traian Hristea, member of Sardarapat movement Zhirayr Sefilian, and Head of the Union of Yezidis of Armenia Aziz Tamoyan.
