Ministry spokesman: New developments not observed at border

“New developments have not been observed at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, but the build-up of military equipment and special units noticed at the end of last week still remains. There are no other manifestations of their activity,” the Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian told Aysor.am, when commenting on the accumulation of Azerbaijani troops in some sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border last week.

Let us remind you that the ministry spokesman told the correspondent of Aysor.am on Saturday that the Azerbaijani side had become notably more active and a build-up of military equipment and units was observed in the Azerbaijani section of the border.

Artsrun Hovhannisina has reiterated that Armenia’s Defense Ministry tracks the movements of the enemy at the border and ready to take the respective case in case of an aggression.
