Hovannisian: President is representative chosen by people and not God

“We all know that the election was held in an atmosphere of lie and fraud. A president is a representative chosen by the people and not by God,” the Heritage Party leader, ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian stated at today’s rally in the city of Yeghegnadzor.

“It is obvious that the people won the February 18 presidential election. It is not a struggle between me and Serzh Sargsyan, it is a struggle of the people,” R. Hovannisian noted.

According to him, Serzh Sargsyan still has time until April 9 in order to assess the situation and follow the path together with the people. In Hovannisian’s words, by April 9, it is necessary to find a common solution in line with the present situation.
