Raffi Hovannisian: You should not wait for me to become your savior

“I warn everyone- be it an Armenian or a foreigner – not to try to oppose the just struggle of the Armenian people. The country’s future is in your, and not my hands,” the Heritage Party leader, ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian stated at the rally in the city of Sisian today.

“You should not wait for me to become your savior. The times of saviors, party leaders, pseudo saviors are over. The time of the Armenian citizen has come. You must realize that we must do everything together,” Hovannisian said.

Speaking about further actions, Raffi Hovannisian said that on April 9 – the day of the re-elected President Serzh Sargsyan’s inauguration – everyone should gather in Liberty Square. He called on everyone to join them.

“I wouldn’t like anyone on April 9 to stay at home and watch what is happening, as if they watch a television series. We should not be wing-side spectators, but should carry out the precept of the Armenian people. The inauguration of a new Armenia will be held on April 9, and we will have national unity,” Raffi Hovannisian said.
