Parliament holds hearing on bills concerning rights of disabled people

On the initiative of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs, a hearing was held in the Armenia Marriott Hotel today to discuss the package of bills on amendments to the Law on the Protection of Rights and Social Adaptation of Disabled Persons” and the Code of Administrative Infractions, the press service of the National Assembly reported.

Among the invitees were deputies of the Armenian parliament, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatrian, representatives of NGOs which deal with problems of the disabled, and guests.

People with disabilities were also present at the hearing. They had the opportunity to address their questions and make proposals to representatives of the respective bodies.
