Recount in polling station 17/05 shows R. Hovannisian polled fewer votes

A recount of votes in polling station No 17/05 in Ararat province revealed that out of the 432 ballots registered as ballots cast for the presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian, only 421 were cast for him, PastInfo news agency reported.

The checks conducted by the Special Investigation Service showed that the packet of the ballots cast for Raffi Hovannisian also contained 5 ballots in favor of Serzh Sargsyan, one ballot in favor of Andrias Ghukasian. Another five ballots in that packet were considered null and void.

The envelopes with the ballots cast in favor of Serzh Sargsyan are being checked now.
