“Armenian-Iranian relations are at high level today”

Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharian received yesterday the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast.

S. Kocharian stated that the Armenian-Iranian relations, which have existed for thousands of years, are at a high level today: there is a political dialog and economic cooperation, active cultural ties have also been established.

According to the press service of Armenian Foreign Minmistry, the sides discussed regional problems, underlining the need to solve the problems by peaceful means.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the opportunities of promoting cooperation between mass media outlets of the two countries.
