Raffi Hovannisian: I will see April 9 at last

Following today’s speech of Heritage party leader, ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian in Ijevan, a member of Solidarity movement, David Sahakian approached him and suggested starting negotiations with the authorities. In response, Raffi Hovannisian said that the future of Armenia is at stake and April 9 is an especially important day in this sense.

In his words, the proposal was taken seriously, but the moment has come when the incumbent president should take that proposal seriously, until April 9.

“However much they criticize me, I will see April 9 at last, with the hope that the civil struggle, which is above any party, will win on April 9 and a law-based, constitutional state will be established,” Hovannisian said.

David Sahakain expressed hope that the leader of Heritage Party will not lead the country to upheavals. Raffi Hovannsian and Heritage faction member Ms. Zaruhi Postanjian replied in one voice that he should say that to Serzh Sargsyan.
