Iranian foreign minister will attend S. Sargsyan’s swearing-in ceremony

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

This was stated during yesterday’s meeting of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Iranian Foreign Ministry’s official representative Ramin Mehmanparast, IRNA news agency reported.

Minister Nalbandian said that mutual visits contribute to the development of the Armenian-Iranian relationship.

When discussing regional problems with the Iranian diplomat, the Armenian foreign minister appreciated Iran’s balanced position on the Karabakh problem.

We would remind you that during his trip to Yerevan, Ramin Mehmanparast had meetings with Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian and Minister of Diaspora Ms. Hranush Hakobian and visited Yerevan State University and Armenia’s National Academy of Sciences.
