Body of missing Azerbaijani citizen found at border with Armenia

The body of Ghazakh region resident Sabir Kerimov, who was missing since April 2, has been found, Azerbaijan’s APA news agency was informed by Kerimov’s cousin Matlab Mustafayev. In his words, S. Kerimov’s body was found in a forest near the frontline in the morning. The man was blown up by a mine, with his body torn apart.

Azerbaijani media spread information that Kerimov lost his way in a forest near the frontline, crossed the Armenian border and was taken captive. The spokesman for Armenia’s Defense Ministry refuted the information, saying that there were no cross-border violations.
