Sergei Ivanov wishes success to Armenian president

The Chief of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Ivanov wished success to the re-elected President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

“I have known Serzh Sargsyan for a long time, to be frank, since the last century,” Sergei Ivanov said.

The Russian official said he and S. Sargsyan have similar biographies: both were previously members of state security bodies, then served as defense ministers, later as secretaries of the Security Councils of their countries.

“We have much in common. I respect him very much and I wish him every success,” Ivanov said.

Sergei Ivanov has attended the Armenian president’s inauguration today.
