Police give demonstrators 15 minutes to leave area

Earlier this evening the police gave the demonstrators at the crossroads of Baghramian and Isahakian Streets 15 minutes to leave the area. This group of demonstrators did not continue the procession led by Raffi Hovannisian to Tsitsernakaberd Complex, but remained in the indicated place.

Deputy of Heritage parliamentary faction Ms. Zaruhi Postanjian addressed the demonstrators, saying that the issue of whether or not to stay in Baghramian Avenue should be resolved together with the people. She called on the procession participants in Baghramian Avenue to act sensibly and avoid clashes with the police. She also asked policemen to give them time to go to Liberty Square and join other participants of the procession.
