Azerbaijani soldiers in inadequate state approached Armenian positions

Spokesman for Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisian wrote on his Facebook page:

“This afternoon the enemy resorted to unprecedented adventurism near the village of Baghanis (“Noyemberian” section) in Tavush province.

A detachment of soldiers in an inadequate state approached disorderly the Armenian frontline positions. They ignored a preliminary warning and continued advancing in a manner untypical of servicemen.

In order to prevent the provocation, Armenian servicemen opened fire, as a result of which the enemy may have suffered casualties.

The responsibility for what happened lies with the Azerbaijani side”.
