Ammunition found in Yerevan

The Ministry of Emergency Situations yesterday received a phone call that ammunition was found behind a garbage can at the crossroads of Shevchenko and Chekhov Streets in Yerevan.

A military detachment, the rapid response group of the Ministry’s Crisis Management Center and a rescue team were sent to the scene.

A box of cartridges of AKS and AKM guns, a RG-42 grenade, and three cartridge drums were found in the indicated place. Policemen transported the ammunition to a safe place.
