Ruben Hakobian: Ter-Petrosian is to blame for split in opposition ranks

“Levon Ter-Petrosian is engaged in political fraud. He tried to cooperate with Serzh Sargsyan, then with Gagik Tsarukian, but Tsarukian took advantage of Ter-Petrosian and Armenian National Congress (HAK) until the last moment,” the head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobian told reporters today.

According to him, Ter-Petrosian declared at the HAK Party’s congress that one should not criticize those standing at the barricades, whereas he does the opposite.

“Mr. Ter-Petrosian. The belief in you and death was not a childhood dream of those ten people who died on 1 March 2008. If you cannot forgive Raffi Hovannisian for the fact that there were no victims on April 9, it is your problem,” Hakobian said.

In the opinion of Ruben Hakobian, it is Levon Ter-Petrosian who is mostly to blame for the split in the opposition ranks.
