Urikhanian: To BHK, Yerevan municipal elections are political

There are no indestructible ties between BHK or its leader and any other political force – such ties that would prevent BHK from implementing its own policy, the member of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) parliamentary faction Tigran Urikhanian said at the meeting with reporters today, when commenting on Levon Ter-Petrosian’s statement about BHK during the constituent congress of HAK Party.

Urikhanian restated that to BHK, the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders are political.

“Yes, these are political elections because political forces are participating. I want to say one thing: it is wrong to create a bad atmosphere, in terms of participation, for a political force which did not run in the previous election,” the BHK deputy noted.
According to him, this time too, BHK has complaints about the number of people included in voter lists.

As regards election bribes, Tigran Urikhanian said anyone with information about election bribery can call him. He announced his phone number.
