HHK, BHK and Hello Yerevan bloc to overcome election threshold

“Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), and Hello Yerevan bloc will overcome the election threshold. Voters are disappointed in Armenian National Congress (HAK) and it is still not clear if HAK will be able to restore citizens’ trust in its top candidates,” sociologist Aharon Adibekian said at the meeting with reporters today.

According to him, 55-60% of voters will vote in the upcoming Yerevan municipal elections. 32% of them already decided who they will vote for, 22% are undecided.

“If HHK maintains its positions, it will not dip below 40%. The opposition would receive 55% of the votes, if it united,” Adibekian noted.

When asked if the May 5 elections are decisive, he replied that following an election, public interest declines, besides, the fate of Armenia does not depend on the opinion of Yerevan only.
