Igitian: I was never member of HAK

Armenian National Congress (HAK) Party is a party of one person - the political figure, member of HHSh (Pan-Armenian National Movement) Party Hovhannes Igitian told reporters today, when discussing the recent developments related to HAK.

“I was never a member of HAK, I was a member of HHSh and believed that we had much work to do. I just protected the interests of my party. Then HAK came on the scene and began using material, human, and financial resources of my party. I had to oppose it. The reason why I call HAK a party of one person is quite clear. Today there is HAK bloc stating that it will continue to act as a bloc, there is HAK Party, and also HAK parliamentary faction which says that they were elected. I have a simple solution to this problem. I think HAK is where Levon Ter-Petrosian is. This proves that HAK is a party of one person,” Igitian said.

“Time will show who was right and who was wrong. In 2008 HAK had a lot of supporters, but their number has declined because of some moves, because of mistakes made by some people. I think it is a fact,” H. Igitian said in conclusion.
