Taron Margarian meets with residents of Kentron district

“We have implemented various programs during these years, but a lot of problems remain unsolved,” the current Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian stated today during a meeting with residents of Kentron (Center) administrative district of Yerevan. Margarian tops the list of candidates of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders.

In his words, their team came to report back to the district residents and to inform them about the work they have done in the past four years. “We ask you to give us the opportunity to continue the programs launched,” Taron Margarian said.

“We have a lot of programs on rehabilitation of schools and entertainment centers. We have made Yerevan’s cultural life more active and now we plan to turn it into a city full of cultural events,” the current mayor stated.

For his part, the member of the Council of Elders Levon Igitian said they want to restore the fantastic city that existed previously.
“Our city is in need of improvement and Taron Margarian is most capable of doing it,” Igitian said.
