Anahit Bakhshian: Education department of municipality had no regulations

The Education Department of Yerevan Municipality had neither regulations nor an approved annual plan, Heritage Party member Ms. Anahit Bakhshian said at a meeting with reporters today. Anahit Bakhshian is No. 2 on the list of candidates of Hello Yerevan bloc of parties in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders.

“The checks showed that the Education Department did not have its regulations. In fact, such a big department was working without any regulations, which were developed ten days after the checks were conducted,” A. Bakhshian stressed. According to her, in many cases headmasters and kindergarten managers have been appointed without participating in a competition.

“There is also a group of pupils who are registered with several schools. It is a crime that causes great damage to the budget. And it is not clear who will bear responsibility for all this,” A. Bakhshian said.
