CEC distributes seats of precinct commission chairmen and secretaries

At the special sitting today, the Central Election Commission of Armenia held an electronic drawing of lots to distribute the seats of precinct election commission chairmen and secretaries among the parties and blocs of parties, which have their factions in the National Assembly, for elections to local self-government bodies to be held on September 23 in Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and Tavush provinces.

According to the press service of CEC, the seats were distributed as follows:

Republican Party of Armenia – 5 seats in each commission,
Prosperous Armenia Party – 4 seats in each commission.
Armenian National Congress bloc of parties, ARFD Party, Orinats Yerkir Party, and Haeritage Party will have one seat in each commission.
