Zdzislaw Raczynski: Interests of Armenia and Poland coincide

“I hope that positive results will be recorded prior to the Vilnius summit and the agreement with the European Union will be signed,” the Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski stated at a meeting with reporters today. He discussed Armenian-Polish relations.

He stressed that Poland as the initiator of the Eastern Partnership program in Armenia considers the progress made by Armenia in the negotiations with the EU as satisfactory.

“Armenia is one of the leading partners within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. Poland is glad to see this because our country is one of the countries which intensively assisted and supported the integration of Caucasian states,” the ambassador said, adding that in this issue, the interests of Armenia and Poland coincide.

Z. Raczynski said that he considers the current Armenian-Polish relations satisfactory. He described these relations as mature partnership based on the sides’ trust.
