Musinian: HHK “juggles” with voter lists

Armenian National Congress (HAK) is the target of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders. HAK member Armen Musinian expressed that opinion at the meeting with reporters today.

“Assessing the pre-election campaign, we should say that HAK is the main target of the ruling regime, which is evident from the incident that occurred with HAK activists in Ajapniak community,” Musinian noted.

According to him, the authorities together with their campaign headquarters and candidate understand that in case of fair elections they will be defeated so they have begun falsifying the electoral process. Musinian said that the current stage is one of violence, but other methods will be used on the polling day: “People will be transported to polling stations. And they will juggle with voter lists”.

Speaking about revealed violations, Musinian said there are lists containing names of voters from Armenian provinces.
“Many people who were registered in provinces during the presidential election have been included in Yerevan lists now. This shows that HHK uses power levers and juggles with voter lists,” Musinian said.
