CEC approves ballot paper sample for May 5 elections
The Central Election Commission of Armenia held a special sitting today, during which it approved the sample of ballot papers for the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders.
CEC took a decision to invalidate the registration of Mission Party’s candidate Lusine Martirosian based on her application for withdrawal of her candidacy, the press service of CEC reports.
We would remind you that CEC has registered the lists of candidates of 7 political forces, which announced their intention to run in the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders. These political forces are Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian National Congress (HAK), Mission Party, ARFD Party, and Hello Yerevan bloc of parties.
Election campaigning started on April 7 and will end on May 3.
