Poland supports efforts of OSCE Minsk Group

Poland’s position on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is the same as the official position of the European Union, the Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski stated at the meeting with reporters today.

According to him, Poland supports the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts aimed at the peaceful settlement of the conflict.

“The fact that the conflict remains unresolved has a negative impact on the regional situation and restricts the political and economic opportunities of Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said.

When asked by reporters whether Poland intends to recognize the independence of Nagorno Karabakh, Z. Raczynski replied that the independence of the NKR has not been so far recognized by Armenia as well.
