Taron Margarian meets with residents of Avan district

“Today I am in my “small homeland”, the incumbent Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian, who tops the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) list in the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, stated during today’s meeting with voters of Avan administrative district.

“I have been accountable to residents of Avan for 8 years, to residents of Yerevan for 4 years. Avan is my native district. I was born and grew up here. In the past eight years, we have managed to improve Avan, based on mutual trust and respect, and we will build a better Yerevan with the same enthusiasm,” T. Margarian stated.

“Yerevan residents, like those of Avan, have always been proud. I am sure that Yerevan residents will move forward confidently and persistently, overcoming the existing problems,” he said.

In his words, despite the fact that Avan is one of the best districts of the capital city, there is still much to be done here.

“I was and continue to be one of you. I am proud of my native district and I will always be beside you,” Taron Margarain told Avan residents.
