Armen Martirosian: There is an atmosphere of permissiveness

The election campaign of Hello Yerevan bloc of parties was accompanied by incidents and obstacles, Armen Martirosian, who tops of the list of Hello Yerevan bloc, said at a meeting with reporters today.

In his words, numerous election bribes were distributed and administrative resource was used.

“Pressure is put everywhere: at schools, governmental organizations. The police don’t act consistently. Our campaign posters were torn down and the police didn’t find those guilty. I repeat: there is an atmosphere of permissiveness,” Martirosian said.

“I expect our bloc to receive a majority of votes. I also hope that the composition of Yerevan Council of Elders will change,” he stated.
