For Mission Party, overcoming election threshold to be positive result
Mission Party will consider overcoming the election threshold as a positive result, Manuk Sukiasian, who is number two on the list of Mission Party in the upcoming elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, said at a meeting with journalists today, when summarizing the results of their election campaign.
“Our campaign showed that any mission can be carried out. Any election brings a new quality and serves as an indicator. Elections are an inevitable necessity,” he noted.
Another participant of the press conference, Mesrop Arakelian who tops the list of Mission party, said:
“We managed to inform the public about our programs and approaches. The biased attitude of the mass media was a disturbing circumstance. But I am sure that some part of the public will give their votes to Mission Party,” Mesrop Arakelian said.
Speaking about the possibility of unification of opposition forces in the post-election period, Manuk Sukiasian said that they earlier made such a proposal, while in case of being included in the Yerevan Council of Elders, they will support the opposition candidate.
