HHK announces composition of new government

No significant changes will be made in the government, the spokesman for Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Edward Sharmazanov told reporters following the sitting of HHK Executive Body held this evening.

The Chief of the Armenian Government Staff David Sargsyan will replace Vatche Gabrielian as Finance Minister. Yuri Vardanian has been appointed Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs. Vahram Avanesian is the new Minister of Economy.

Vatche Gabrielian has been appointed Head of the Government Staff. HHK has retained its other portfolios. Orinats Yerkir Party will have the same three portfolios.

When asked what task has been set before the new government, Sharmazanov said, “To work more efficiently”.
