President: The task is to achieve 7% economic growth

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the session of the newly-formed government. He said he expects 7% economic growth in 2013.

“Last year the task of ensuring 7% economic growth was set before the government. The task was carried out. This year’s task is the same, but we will also expect qualitative indices,” the president stressed.

In his words, citizens have high expectations. “I see no obstacles to effective work. I think there are favorable conditions because we have created prerequisites for progress,” Serzh Sargsyan stated.

“The work of this government will be assessed only in terms of its results,” the president said.
