“R. Kocharian should knock at HHK’s door and say: May I come in?”

“I have said many a time that Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is the only fully formed political organization, while Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) is trying to approach it,” the Director of Sociometer independent sociological center, sociologist Aharon Adibekian said at the meeting with journalists today.

In his words, the other political forces are small structures.

“Heritage Party, ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, and Armenian National Congress (HAK) are opposition forces. Heritage and ARFD are moderate opposition, while HAK is a leftist opposition force,” the sociologist noted. He characterized HHK as a rightist pro-government force, Orinats Yerkir Party is a moderate pro-government one, and BHK as a centrist party.

When asked about the possibility of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharian’s return to politics, Adibekian said: “If he wants to return, then he should knock at HHK’s door and say: “May I come in?”
