Chapel dedicated to freedom fighters desecrated in Proshian village

Unknown people wrote “The ball is over” on a wall of the chapel dedicated to freedom fighters in the village of Proshian on May 14.

Hakob Muradian, a nephew of the late administrator of Proshian village Hrach Muradian, told Aysor.am that they don’t know who desecrated the chapel.

When asked to express his opinion about the investigation into Hrach Muradian’s murder and to say if he considers the detained suspect Ara Petrosian guilty, Hakob Muradian replied he cannot say anything at the moment, but if “the investigation is delayed, we will take respective steps”.

We would remind you that the body of Hrach Muradian was found on April 2 at the building of Proshian village administration. Police said H. Muradian received a gunshot wound to the right temple.

A criminal case was opened under Article 104 part 2 point 2 and Article 235 Part 1 of the Criminal Code.
