‘Hayastan All-Armenian Fund reflects Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity’

“The sitting of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will be of a working nature, while the decisions will be aimed at solving effectively the problems facing Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated in his opening speech at the 22nd sitting of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s Board of Trustees today.

In his words, the last two years in Armenia were eventful years: three elections were held, which also gave occasion to reveal the problems facing the country and discuss their solutions.

“Any serious issue, whether it is a national, socioeconomic or any other problem, is examined. And there are also great expectations and we ust meet those expectations, “the president said, adding that there are all foundations for achieving serious results.

Discussing the situation in Syria, Serzh Sargsyan said that Armenia has supported and will support its brothers and sisters, regardless of whether they are in Armenia or in Syria.

In his words, Haystan All-Armenian Fund reflects the opportunities of the Armenians around the world as well as the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity, therefore there is still much to be done.

The president’s speech was followed by the screening of a short film about the Fund’s activities.
