Areyan: Mayor has no reason to avoid discussion of budgetary issues

Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan gave a report on the implementation of Yerevan’s budget in the National Assembly today. The deputy of “Armenian National Congress” (HAK) faction Nikol Pashinian asked him why the report on the budget implementation was not presented by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian.

Kamo Areyan said the mayor of Yerevan has no reason to avoid discussions of budgetary issues and he did not participate in the discussions “for a valid reason”. In his words, the matter was coordinated with the chairmen of parliamentary committees. At the same time Kamo Areyan did not specify the reason for Yerevan mayor’s absence.
