Festive events held in Yerevan on International Children’s Day
By tradition, Liberty Square in Yerevan became today a playground, with lots of children drawing with chalks on the asphalt - as part of the events dedicated to International Children’s Day. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian was among the guests.
A festive concert with the participation of popular children’s ensembles was organized for young residents of the city, according to the press service of Yerevan Municipality.
The mayor walked around the square, looked at the drawings of kids, talked with their parents, and whished happy childhood to their children.
At 8:00 p.m. a program of funny games and quizzes began in Liberty Square.
The mayor also visited Victory Park where festive events continued until late at night.
