Ashotian on Syunik governor: First, it is necessary to prove who got wet

It was a regrettable and blameworthy incident. Minister of Education and Science, deputy chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Armen Ashotian said during a talk with reporters, when commenting on the recent incident outside the house of Syunik regional governor.

“A criminal case was opened. I am sure those guilty will be revealed and punished,” he said.

When asked if the governor of Syunik province Surik Khachatrian will manage to “get out of the rain” once again, Armen Ashotian replied that an investigation is underway so it is inexpedient to discuss the case. He added, “To use such a vocabulary, during the investigation of the criminal case, first, it is necessary to prove who got wet and only then to take measures so that no wet person could get out of the rain”.
