Russian officer dies in car accident in Armenia

An officer of the Russian armed forces, Senior Lieutenant A. Atavin died in a car accident in the city of Gyumri on June 2.

According to the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, his BMW car skidded off the carriageway and overturned near the former radio factory in Gyumri. A. Atavin, 27, received injuries and died while being taken to hospital.
